Man I remember QBASIC. There was an old 386 clone in the corner of my after school day-care type thing when I was in grade three and I would leave it set up asking what your name was. When eventually some kid would type in their name it'd flash "$name BROKE THE COMPUTER!!!!" over and over til somebody unplugged it because I wouldn't ever tell them how to fix it. Actually I always forgot the button to end the program and it'd always be set on an infinite loop (last line was "goto 1") so they'd be screwed.

I did something similar to that when I was in Advanced Computers in highschool. All the computers had IE so I set the start pages in the lab to an HTML file with a JavaScript never ending loop of pop up windows. The Admin wasn't amused. Not as unamused as when I logged into the network as him to play MUDs over Telnet though. That got me banned from the school computers for a year.

heya, all...RogueClown here.  i'm 25 and female...i've been lurking for a while, and finally made a forum account.

i don't know a whole lot about phone technology, but i love the prank calls.  i'm thinking i should stay away from the Awesome Boxes Of Many Colours...i've never really done the H/P thing, and probably shouldn't start now since i'm a law student and it may cause some trouble on my character and fitness examination.   :-\  however, i think the podcasts and prank calls are hysterical.

Yo.
My name is John, I'm 16, and I'm from a very small town (cesspool, maybe?) in Northwestern Wisconsin.
I very much enjoy prank calling Cellular One technical support. I've been doing it obsessively for the last week now. I won't be able to after March 3rd because they're shutting down their TDMA towers and the old phone I use to make the calls is TDMA. :( But I'm pranking with a vengence to get it out of my system.
Aside from harassing Dobson customer care reps, I enjoy listening to music and sitting in front of my computer all day. I also enjoy talking (legitimately) on the phone until my ears fall off. :D
I look forward to maybe making some new friends and/or reading something interesting. ^_^
