How's Nalts a sellout? Cause he uses Google ads on his videos?
I read his e-book. He even admitted that, when he first came to YouTube, he was shunned for trying to start up his 'nalts' brand (his logo on hats, coffee mugs, etc.). But he also said that it was good in the long run because he was using YouTube to "supplement his income" (i.e. It's all business to him).
After he got famous, his videos got a fresh bukkake of real adverts: Officebreak.com, Mentos, GPS Maniac, XLNTads, Holiday Inn Express, iLabor, doMyStuff, and Crowne Plaza paid him to advertise. (thanks, Wikipedia!).
He has also appeared on: CNN, ABC Nightline, Good Morning America, CBS News, FOX News and Click.
So yeah, Nalts is a sellout. But who cares? If I had as many subscribes as him, I'd do the same thing.
